After being talked into attending a race at Ventura Raceway by my wife, I found that I enjoyed it and became an avid fan attending most Saturday nights for the next two seasons.  Finding that I was suffering from race withdrawals, I decided that I really wanted to give racing a try myself. My wife's co-worker was racing with the dwarf cars and I thought maybe he could give me some helpful hints about racing.  At that point, I went in pursuit of a car and sponsorship.  After finding both, I began to learn about the world of dwarf cars.  I quickly learned that driving a dwarf car was a lot more than I thought it would be, and still is. 

The first season, I raced seven times, but that was enough to take home the senior rookie of the year for 2003.  I didn't race the next season, due to eye surgeries.  I was able to obtain the 33SR car, thanks to Ron Bach.   Cindy and I sanded and painted every inch and got it set for the season.  I only raced a few races last season but am looking forward to the 2006 season.  I hear I will be competing against my wife!  Hope you all enjoy the season as much as the Addison Racing Team does!!!
