 My love for racing was rekindled on a Saturday afternoon back in 1999 when my nephew called to invite Steve and I to go watch the racing at Ventura Raceway.  This was something I had wanted to do, as one of my co-workers raced dwarf cars there.  The first year, we went every other Saturday night, but by the beginning of the 2000 season, we had become fixtures at Ventura Raceway.  In December 2002, Steve started looking for a dwarf car for the 2003 season.  After spending hours on the computer looking for a car, he found one for sale that was within our budget.  In January 2003, we made the trip to Taft to pick her up.  We spent the next month trying to learn about this little car.  We took the car to Karl Ott to have him check her out and teach us the basics.  In February, we went to the open practice at Ventura Raceway.  It only took me 4 hours to get the nerve to get out on the track, but boy, once I did, I was hooked!  The rest is history.  I came in fourth in overall points for both 2003 and 2004 season and seventh in 2005.
